I am attempting to find my identical twin brother who I believe was sold by corrupt officials for adoption. I am told he was born at Queen Sofia Hospital (Agia Sofia Children’s Hospital?) in Athens, Greece on December 16, 1954 to Demetra (mother) and Ioannis (father) Doukas. I believe he was named Nikos “Nick” Doukas but had not yet been baptized. Sometime around June 1955, when we were six months, old my mother went to the hospital with both of us. The officials told her that my brother died because he had been given sour milk but she was never shown the body. They told her they buried him in the hospital garden. I am aware that at that time many parents were told their children had died when in fact, the babies were illegally adopted as part of a large-scale baby-selling scheme in Greece. I was adopted from Greece in 1962 and although I had a great life wth very loving parents, I hv always wanted to meet my birthmother,,,there were several strange things surrounding my adoption including papers my birthmother signed and my being flown yo the states secretive ly and s er pastry from my adopted parents,,,please help me,,,my email is mspaula36@me.com, ,,thanks
